long time no post.

Hello you other-worldly, photo-reblogging, image-liking, wonderfully lovely folk.

How are ya?
Long time no post-talk, eh?
Anywho. Just throwin’ up a post because my tumblr page has been lackin’, and I apologize for that.

On another note - I start college next week.
So, fewer posts - though you’re probably used to that from me by now. Haha. My bad…

I have an Instagram.
Go find me - peigasus.

And my brother has a photography website.
Go check him out - he’s a cool cat.

So, yeah. No ramblings for today.
Feel free to send a message my way and we can chat! (:

Let’s go on a roadtrip, you and I. We can have adventures in another place, another life.

Oh, darling, the places we could go. Just you and me against the world, and nothing can hold us back.
how endearing…

So, that title has nothing to do with this post.
That being said, this post has nothing to do with that title.

That being said, it’s summer.
And I’ve been out of school since 3 June 2o12.
And I’ve decidedly had nothing to do.

Yes, this post is boring.
Ah well, you’ll have to put up with my drab-ful antics and juxtaposing word-choice.

Anywho, today I realized that I have a rather peculiar habit.
I love art, all things art - drawing, writing, sculpting, sewing, singing, etc. - but I can’t seem to wrap my mind around this.
In the past, I’ve always tried to keep a journal & a sketchbook in which to keep my thoughts, writings, and drawings in - respectively, but I’ve found that I had never been able to keep one.
I always felt uninspired or lacked motivation, when keeping a journal/sketchbook.

It wasn’t until today that I realized something.
I found myself doodling on napkins, on scrap sheets of paper, writing on cardboard.
I can write and draw to my heart’s content on and in anything that isn’t in one place.
Why is this?

That question is rhetorical.
And on that note, I’m going to continue my haphazard ways until I can form a new habit and manage to keep a journal/sketchbook.

My question to you, fellow Tumblr-ers, is what do you do when you’re in a rut/uninspired?

xxJennifer.

And if one day you look back, you’ll find everything you left behind.
Art will remain the most astonishing activity of mankind born out of struggle between wisdom and madness, between dream and reality in our mind.
